About Chris Landry, the Slide Doctor

Chris Landry shakes his head.

“This is a tough one,” he says, nodding at the screen. “Hundred words a slide, all in Comic Sans. We’re going to have to tear these babies down to the studs.”

It’s another day at the office for Landry, who, in his role as the Slide Doctor, transforms unsightly PowerPoint (and Keynote) sets into beautiful slides that grab and hold the attention of audiences.

“People have so much riding on presentations,” says Landry, “So it’s a shame that their slides so rarely reflect their brilliance and expertise. That’s my job: to help my clients communicate their key points clearly and effectively.”

His clients include major corporations and private foundations as well as entrepreneurs and small businesses. His slides were featured in the book Presentation Zen and won a prize in SlideShare.net’s very first World’s Best Presentations Contest.

Landry has an M.Ed with a focus on learning theory and has worked in corporate and nonprofit communications for more than twenty years.

“Having a professionally made slide deck,” he says, “is a relatively modest investment that gives presenters the confidence they need to close the deal – whether it’s landing a job, an investor, or a sale. My goal is to help people get the standing ovation they deserve.”
